TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the thing that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
