What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the part that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
